General Information
The Human Resources Department is a part of Delta County Administration and is charged with the oversight of personnel activities for the County. Responsibilities of the Human Resources Department include:
- Receiving, processing and screening of job applications
- Assisting County Departments in the hiring of qualified employees
- Develop and update position and classifications and descriptions
- County compensation and benefit programs
- Develop, revise, and assure compliance with Delta County Personnel Policies
- Processing and oversight of workers’ compensation claims
- Compliance with State and Federal regulations pertaining to employment
- Coordination of employee training programs
