Adult Vaccinations

Many adults think that “shots” or immunizations are just for kids. But, disease has no age limits, and adults need protection too. In fact, there are some immunizations which are more important for adults than for children. There are diseases against which all or many adults need to receive immunizations. Those diseases are:

  • Influenza
  • Pneumococcal Disease (Pneumonia)
  • Hepatitis A & B
  • Tetanus
  • Diphtheria
  • Measles
  • Rubella
  • Pertussis

The Health Services Division offers adult immunizations through scheduled clinics. Please call for an appointment.

Tuberculosis Testing

Testing for Tuberculosis is also offered during regular clinic hours. Please call for an appointment.

The Delta County Health Department will bill insurance (due to the Affordable Care Act, most insurance companies are required to pay 100% of vaccine costs). Medicaid and uninsured are accepted.
