Guest WiFi Help

Delta County (“County”) offers wireless Internet access in the form of a guest wireless network (“DCGuestWiFi”) in select County meeting rooms and work spaces. This guide is intended to help you connect your mobile device to the DCGuestWiFi wireless network. Your knowledge of your device’s settings and capabilities is essential.

Connecting to DCGuestWiFi is a multi-step process. First, open the list of Wi-Fi networks on your device and locate DCGuestWiFi and connect to it. You will be asked to enter a password or key for the DCGuestWiFi network SSID. This password changes periodically and may be obtained from the meeting room organizer.

After entering the correct SSID password or key, an Internet browser should open with the DCGuestWiFi Sign in / Register page:

If your computer or mobile device does not automatically open the web page above, open the default Internet browser on your device and try connecting to a web site. The DCGuestWiFi Sign in page should be presented.

If you are a returning guest, sign in with the Username and Password that was sent to you by email or text message when you registered. Your username is either your email address, or your mobile phone number (including the +1 as shown in the registration text message).

If you have never connected to this wireless network before, or if it has been longer than a month since connecting, select the Register button. The Register page will open with two methods to register: email or phone text message:

Select the method of your choice. If you choose email, the DCGuestWiFi system will provide 5 minutes of temporary Internet service so that you can check your email. Complete the registration process as prompted and you will be redirected to the deltacounty.com home page.

Once registered and connected, the DCGuestWiFi system will remember your device for 30 days, after which you will be prompted to re-register.

DCGuestWiFi is provided as a public service, free of charge, for the convenience of visitors conducting business with the County and subject to the Internet Disclaimer and Terms of Use document found by following the link provided on the Sign in and Register pages.
