Most meetings take place at the Board of County Commissioners Meeting Room unless otherwise noted.

You can comment in several ways:

β³ How much time do I have to speak?
Each speaker is typically given 3 minutes, unless the Chair allows more or less time.

Yes! If you're attending to speak on a specific agenda item, wait for that item to be presented and for the Chair to invite public comments.

All comments received are forwarded to the Board and may be summarized or entered into the public record.
π How can I get an item on a Board of County Commissioners meeting agenda?
To request an item be added to a future agenda, contact the County Administrator’s Office or email commissioners@deltacountyco.gov.
Requests should include a clear description of the topic, your contact information, and any relevant materials.
All requests are subject to review and approval by County Administration.
π What is the difference between a work session and a regular meeting?
A work session is an informal meeting where Commissioners receive updates, ask questions, and discuss issues with staff or other agencies. No formal votes or decisions are made during work sessions.
A regular meeting is a formal, public meeting where the Board can take official action, vote on agenda items, and accept public comment.
π₯ Is anyone allowed to attend a Commissioner meeting or work session?
Yes! All Board of County Commissioners meetings and work sessions are open to the public, unless otherwise noted (such as executive sessions, which are closed by law).
You're welcome to attend in person or online. Public attendance and participation are encouraged!
