BLA – Boundary Line Adjustment: Adjusts property lines between existing parcels without creating new lots.
MP – Minor Plat: A small-scale land division creating a limited number of lots with minimal impacts on infrastructure.
PP – Preliminary Plat: The initial detailed layout of a proposed subdivision.
Replat: A revision of an existing subdivision plat — used to combine, reconfigure or divide lots, adjust easements or rights‑of‑way.
LUP – Limited Use Permit: A permit allowing limited, low‑impact land use requiring County review for zoning compliance.
CUP – Conditional Use Permit: A permit for land uses not permitted by right in a zoning district but allowed with conditions to reduce potential impacts.
Dedication: Granting land or easements for public use (roads, utilities, trails, parks) as part of development or subdivision.
Vacation: Removal of a public right‑of‑way, easement or recorded plat (or portion thereof) no longer needed for public use.
BoCC – Board of County Commissioners: The elected governing body handling many final decisions on land use applications for the county.
